Day 1: An Introduction

Testing...testing, 1....2....3...

Just sharing a few tidbits of life.

First, let's start off with the basics.

The way to a successful blog = LOTS of photos.

Second, I am wife to an amazing, hardworking hunk-a-hunk-a-burnin'-love.

Third, I am the stay-at-home mother of 3 beautiful children:

Oliver:

He is 4 years old and ALL boy. He likes guns and swords and blocks...he likes to build guns and swords out of the blocks. AND ships. He is very frequently a pirate. *ARRRRRRR*

Leah:

She is 2 years old and ALL girl. She loves her blankie and her baby...which is what she calls all 10 of her babies. However, there is still only ONE baby. She likes hats, bracelets, necklaces, purses, shoes....like I said, she is ALL girl. She is also the family comedian.

Anthony:

He is 4 months old. He is my lover. Every time I look at him, I get greeted by this big, lovely, cheesy grin and it makes my day even brighter!

I love them...

I've got a wild bunch of animals...and sometimes I really DO feel like I live in a zoo. And humans do NOT live at the zoo. BUT...

...they know how to make me laugh...

...and they have their sweet moments...

Moments I cherish.

So that is me: An avid pinner (<3 Pinterest!) of all things wonderful and inspiring: mother of the year (to my children), #1 helpmeet (to my husband), world-renowned chef (in my world), classy interior decorator (yay Walmart and Target!), hopeful (hopeless) homemaker, fitness guru (beginner classes), and healthy living advocate (where did I put those M&Ms?)...but each day I TRY to progress by implementing those things into my every day, ordinary life...

On a side note: Ughhhh! Halloween=lots of candy in visible places. Why yes, I will have a bowl full of empty calories during breakfast, before lunch, after lunch, and after dinner. *sigh*

Health and Fitness: a big fat ZERO

But I DID clean the kids bathroom...with my wonderful vinegar/water spritz and baking soda scrub! With a splash of PineSol in the comode for my hunk-a-hunk-a-burnin'-love.

Day One has run into Day Two...I will just pretend today is daylight savings, instead of tomorrow. Unless I'm late again tomorrow...in which case BOTH days shall be my daylight savings day.

And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed....So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. <Joshua 10:13-14>
